I ended 2018 with a visit to one of my favourite parts of the UK, the stunning coastline of Northumberland.
Having only a few days in between Christmas and New year, time wasn't on our side but a trip here is well worth the drive even in the middle of winter, this place is fantastic for gathering inspiration.
As an artist the light that falls on the landscape is truly breathtaking and the open secluded beaches offer great walks to clear your head from the buzz of Christmas and get you geared up for the year ahead. I highly recommend it.
